Affected by irradiation,water temperature and nutrient substance,the algae always concentrate atthe upper layer water of reservoirs.Moreover,due to the slow hydrodynamic exchange,thethermal stratification phenomenon appears commonly in large and medium reservoirs.Affectedby the thermocline,the traditional way of dispatching at bottom layer has the disadvantage ofslow water-exchanging ratio and slow algae-discharging ratio in the upper layer water.
