The study investigated the effects of grafting on the carbohydrate status and enzymes of carbohydrate metabolism in leaves and roots under 80mM Ca(NO3)2 stress with salt-tolerant pumpkin(Cucurbita maxima×Cucurbita moschata)Qingzhen las the rootstock and a cultivar cucumber Jinyou 3as the scion.Results showed that the growth of self-grafted seedlings were obviously inhibited after 6 days of Ca(NO3)2 stress, while salt-tolerant rootstock alleviate the inhibit in rootstock-grafted seedlings.
