Gradient copolymers(GCs)are a novel class of copolymers which possess the gradual variation in composition from one end to the other along the whole polymer chain length.The special monomer distribution enables the polymers exhibit quite unique properties compared with the conventional statistically random or block copolymers,such as the broad glass transition temperatures and special self-assembly properties.They have attracted tremendous interest for their potential applications in damping materials,phase compatilizers and so on.
