Objective:To calculate the reliability of all-ceramic crown of mandibular first molar with the maximal forces of mastication under different loading areas.Method:A three dimensional finite element model of mandibular first molar was constructed.To simulate two situation of all-ceramic crown of mandibular first molar with the maximal forces of mastication 40.14±18.54kg under two kind of loading areas and calculate the reliabilities.Results:In the situation of the maximal forces of mastication under big loading area,the reliability of all-ceramic crown was 99.99%; In the situation of the maximal forces of mastication under small loading area,the reliability of all-ceramic crown was 86.86%.Conclusion:Under the situation of the maximal forces of mastication,reducing the loading area can lower the reliability of all-ceramic crown.
