Aim: Liver Kinase B1 (LKB1) proteins serve as a master regulator of metabolismthat inhibits anabolic processes and stimulates catabolic processes.In the present study, we investigated the roles of LKB1 in activated human hepatic stellate cells.Methods: Human hepatic stellate cells, LX-2 were incubated with different stimulating factor at various times.The protein and mRNA extracted from cells were analyzed by Western blotting analysis and Reverse Transcription Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR).
