The most common route for transmission of infectious diseases is by indirect contact with surfaces contaminated with infectious droplets produced by human coughing,sneezing or talking.This projects goal is to develop an environmentally benign and safe, multi-level antimicrobial coating based on smart materials for broad-spectrum,long-term disinfection of surfaces.
