A genetic linkage map is a powerful research tool for mapping traits of interesting and is essential to understanding genome evolution.The aim of this study is to provide an expanded genetic linkage map of common carp to effectively carry out quantitative trait loci (QTL) analysis and conduct comparative mapping analysis between lineages.Here, we constructed a genetic linkage map of common carp (Cyprinus carpio L.) with a sib family consisting of 159 progenies.
