Background This study sought to assess the impact of targeted left ventricular (LV) lead placement by real-time three-dimensional echocardiography on efficacy of cardiac resynchronization therapy (CRT)Methods A total of 48 CHF patients of XiJing Hospital scheduled for CRT underwent baseline real-time three-dimensional echocardiography and were then randomized 1∶1 into 2 groups.TARGET group, the LV lead was positioned at the latest site avoiding scar.Control group, patients underwent standard unguided CRT.LVESV, LVEE Tmsvl6-SD and △LVESV, △LVEF, △Tmsv16-SD would be compared at 6 months after CRT between two groups.
