D-sorbitol/Polyvinyl alcohol (D/PVA) polyblends were obtained by mixing polyvinyl alcohol (various molecular weights) and D-sorbitol in melting process at about 210 ℃.Furthermore, the behaviors and mechanisms of thermal degradation for D/PVA were investigated herein.
