A novel porous alumina monolith was prepared by the anodization method.The catalytic performance of alumina for dimethyl ether (DME) hydrolysis was investigated.It was found that the anodic alumina has stronger acidity and higher activity than commercial Al2O3 and keeps the stable activity for 110h.Meanwhile, a series of anodic alumina supported Cu catalysts were employed to investigate the reactivity in DME steam reforming.The effects of Cu loading and CuO crystallite size on DME steam reforming were assessed.
