How to efficiently and accurately detect the spatial distribution of heavy metal pollution sources is a very challenging task.Therefore,this paper proposes the contact induced polarization method to detect heavy metal contaminated soil.In this paper,the mechanism of microscopic polariza-tion effect of contact heavy metal pollution detection is discussed in detail,and the abnormal model of high polarizability value caused by edge leakage zone is constructed.A physical simulation soil tank test is designed for the initial state and diffusion state of heavy metal pollution,and the observation results were compared with the observation data of the traditional induced polarization method,which verified the feasibility and effectiveness of the contact induced polarization method for detecting heavy metal contaminated soil.The research results provide an effective new technical means for the detec-tion of heavy metal pollution.
