In the process of HPLC method development, it is necessary to optimize multiple parameters, such as analytical column and mobile phase, temperature, etc.Regarding the mobile phase, it is important todetermine the organic solvent, pH and concentration of any buffer modifier, as well as elution conditions based on the properties and structure of the target analytes.Especially, the process of developing HPLC methods for natural products requires considerable amount of time and labor, because it is necessary to separate many unknown components in them.
