  In this work we report the effect of poly (amidomine) (PAMAM) dendrimers (G3,G4,G5,G3.5,G4.5) on corneal epithelium cellular uptake and transepithelial transport ofpuerarin as a model drug with immortalized human corneal epithelial (HCE) cell line.In addition,the G4 PAMAM dendrimer across HCE cells was investigated by flow-cytometry (FCM) and confocal laser scanning microscopy (CLSM).Cationic PAMAM dendrimers(G3,G4,G5) could significantly increase the uptake and transport of puerarin on HCE cells.FCM and CLSM studies revealed a significant level of internalization of G4 PAMAM dendrimer in HCE cells.
