Objective Global cerebral ischemia commonly occurs in emergency situations such as stroke,cardiac arrest and surgery that leads to neuronal cell death, and eventually causes long-term neurological impairment.At present, the pharmacological therapeutics for CIRI are relatively limited and the pathogenesis of CIRI is not well defined.This study aimed to investigate the interventional effects of the combination of naloxone and dexamethasone on CIRI in mice by observing the changes in cellular patterns and levels of superoxide dismutase (SOD),malondialdehyde (MDA), and NF-kappaB expression in cerebral tissue homogenates, along with neurobehavioral assessment.
