Objective To evaluate the effects of three different pacing modes on left ventricular systolic function in patients with sick sinus symptom (SSS) and dual-chamber pacemaker (DDDR) by ultrasonic speckle tracking imaging.Methods 45 SSS patients with normal atrioventricular conduction and a previously implanted DDDR cardiac pacemaker were enrolled, three kinds of pacing modes (ASVS, APVS and APVP pacing modes) were randomly assigned to every patient for each 90 mintues.
