In recent years,interest in WSED(water-splitting electrodialysis) process is increasing due to the development of high-performance bipolar membranes and the ion exchange membranes.Bipolar membrane is as a cation and anion exchange layers combined form,a molecule of water is decomposed into hydrogen ions and hydroxide ions in the presence of anion exchange layer facing the anode,cation exchange layer facing the cathode.Since they operate in very harsh conditions,as high-performance membranes requirements,sufficient water-splitting ability and high ion selectivity,low electrical resistance and high chemical stability are required.Bipolar membrane manufactured with an ion exchange capacity of the polymer material is priority consideration.crosslinking the manufactured ion exchange membrane is often improves the ion selectivity and physico-chemical characteristics.In this study,we manufacture bi-polar membrane through synthesized aminated polysulfone and sulfonated poly (ether ether ketone),and fluorinated surface of prepared bi-polar membrane to establish the optium conditions of generation of sodium hypochloride.
