In this study, the effect of pressure-induced flow (PIF) processing on mechanical properties of short carbon fiber (CF) reinforced polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) and strength of CF/PPS interfaces were investigated.A series of CF/PPS specimens were prepared with different conditions of PIF-processing.It was observed from SEM micrographs that the interfaces structures were well preserved and fracture occurred in the weak interlayer of polymer matrix.
