Roseovarius sp.IOB-7是一株从天然海水中分离出的海洋细菌.在碘离子浓度＞130 mg/L的高碘环境中,它能够氧化碘离子而生成碘单质.进一步研究表明,IOB-7对碘离子的氧化能力来自于生长过程中分泌的胞外酶.IOB-7的发酵液经过硫酸铵分级沉淀,透析袋透析后,收集具有碘氧化活性的胞外酶,再经30 KDa的超滤管离心分离,冷冻干燥,得到纯化了的碘氧化酶.纯化后,酶的浓度可以达到6.4
