Branch campuses are sprouting around the world,particularly in Asia.In addition to Arabian Gulf,Malaysia,Singapore and China are three popular countries where branch campuses were established.In terms of home countries,U.S.UK,Germany and France offer most massive offshore education in Asia,which enables Asian students to receive world-class education.The purpose of the study is to explore the development of international branch campuses in four Asian nations,including China,Malaysia,Singapore and South Korea.Then the study will compare national policies and regulatory framework for international branch campuses among China,Malaysia,Singapore and South Korea.Quality assurance of international branch campuses in these four nations will be discussed at the end of the paper.
