Background The 5-year survival after surgery and multimodal treatment in hepatocellular cancer patients varies greatly from 18.8 to 81％.Due to the little data on the efficacy of surgery performed to patients with regional lymph node metastases, decision of surgical treatment of stage IVA remains debatable.
