Induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC) technology holds significant promise for regenerative medicine [1] and diagnostic [2] applications.As a testament to their versatility, iPSCs have been differentiated into cells of neural lineage [3], cardiomyocytes [4].respiratory epithelial cells [5] and pancreatic beta cells [6], among others.Differentiation processes, in general, are time consuming, and may result in populations spontaneously differentiating into non-target products.Therefore.enrichment and purification of the target differentiation products is critical to both research and clinical applications.In current practice, target differentiation products are purified by chemical, metabolic, and even manual selection, which is time-consuming, costly, low throughput, and invasive (alter or damage cells).
