The polyphenoI was investigated by usmg reversed-phase high performance liquid chromatographic method (RP-HPLC).The netmal and acidic polyphenol in kernels of Nuomici,Rouhebao,Guiwei,Baila,Fenghua Litchi and chinese medicine Litchi Chinensis were determined by C 18 column with the gradient elution of acetonitrile and 3% acetic acid at 30℃ and 1 ml/min.The result indicates that the contents of caffeic acid and p-coumaric acid in kernel of Nuomici was 0.0757mg/g,protocatechuic acid in kernel of Guiwei was 0.0652mg/g,rutin in kernel of Baila was 0.0773mg/g,and catechin in chinese medicine Litchi Chinensis was 0.0128mg/g.The plenty of polyphenlo in Litchi Chinensis may be the components for its anitumor,antivirus,antioxidation and so on.
