Voluminous Carboniferous volcanic rocks from Batamayineishan Group (BFG) are widely distributed in the Zhaheba area,the northern part of the eastern Junggar terrane.Their complex characteristics of mixed post-collision and subduction affinity make it difficult to reconstruct the tectonic evolution of eastern Junggar terrane.Further,the forming age of BSG has been not well constrained.Well Fuqian-1 is located in Zhaheba Depression,and provides complete stratigraphic sequence and volcano-sedimentary rocks samples for understanding tectonic setting and forming time of BSG.Carboniferous rocks from well Fuqian-1,intercalated with minor tuffaceous sandstones and shales at the upper part of well,composed mainly basalts,basaltic andesites and andesites occur within Upper Carboniferous BSG.
