In Turkey,fishery products are supplied to the consumers through wholesale fish markets,fisherman shelters,sale centers or handling facilities.However,wholesale fish markets have a rather important status in the marketing of fishery products on account of not only serving the cities in which they are but also meeting the needs for fishery products of the neighboring cities and towns and being the starting point of fresh and frozen fishery products exportation.
