A key challenge in nanomaterials development is the control and manipulation of the structure at the nanoscale. We are able to meet this challenge through reconfigurable arrays configured on graphene nano-sheets(GNS).Our approach is a new paradigm in materials synthesis.Conventional synthesis relies on identification of thermodynamically stable phases and synthesis via chemical routes. The conventional approach targets a specific functionality, which is fixed once synthesis is complete. We seek to circumvent the restrictions of conventional synthesis through reconfigurable nanostructural assembly.
