The mercury emissions and fly ash adsorption characteristics were studied in this paper.The mercury emission was obtained in PC and CFB utility boilers by measuring the mercury content in solid samples including coal,limestone,slag,fly ash and gypsum.The influence of the physicochemical characteristics of fly ash on mercury adsorption was obtained,which is the foundation for further research on the mechanism of fly ash on mercury adsorption.
