Objective Previous studies show that many young adults engage in unhealthy behaviors,and differences exist in health-risk behaviors by Body Mass Index (BMI) category and gender category.Social Cognitive Theory provided the framework for this study because it explains how people acquire and maintain certain behavioral patterns.Little is known about the role of social cognitive theory on Physical activity and healthy nutrition behaviors among undergraduates in China.
