The precipitation process and resulted hardening responds of two as-cast Al-Sc-Zr and Al-Sc-Zr-Er alloys during post-solidification ageing were investigated, aiming at developing cost-effective aluminum alloys for high-temperature application.The microstructure analyses and hardness tests were performed after isothermal ageing treatment at 300, 350 and 400℃,as well as two-stage ageing treatment (300℃+400℃).
