Studies of flowering phenology as compared with botanical garden and nature reserve forest would be an important tool to assess the impact of climate change. Thus, we examined flowering phenology for 195 woody tree species in the seasonal rainforest nature reserves (SRNR) of south-west China.Within the seasonal rainforests, two permanent plots phenology records were used, namely the 55 KM plot in Menglun (one-ha) and the Bubeng plot in Mengla (20-ha).
