Objective In the present study, the function of dendritic cells was investigated in the pathogensis of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) through the change of dendritic cells in the induced sputum of patients and in broncho-alveolar lavage fluid (BALF) of rats with COPD, further to make clear of the pathogenesis of COPD about DCs.
