A critical performance metric in multi-hop wireless networks is the end-to-end throughput of a multi-hop traffic flow.CSMA is the mainly adopted channel access mechanism in such kind of networks for its simplicity and practicability.But it will bring hidden terminals which will negatively affect the system throughput performance.The carrier sensing size will influence the numbers of hidden terminals,but an optimal sensing range size is difficult to determine,and in specific environment it may be set to different values.
