  This article evaluates the impact-induced damages and influence of titanium skin layer on impact damages in FRP layer of Fibre-Metal Laminates based on titanium alloys and glass fibre-reinforced polymers (Ti/GFRP laminates).Dropweight tests are conducted for the Ti/GFRP laminates [Ti/03/903]s and the Ti/GFRP laminates with single titanium layer [Ti/03/906/03] considering the titanium skin or the GFRP layer as an impact surface.Detailed observation of impact induced damages in these laminates from impacted direction is displayed.In particular, overall size and extent of impact damages are focused.
