Polyeystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) is a complex disorder characterized by chronic anovulation or oligo-ovulation, hyperandrogenism manifested by various degrees of hirsutism, obesity, large cystic ovaries and insulin resistance.Our aim was to study the prevalence of clinical features and health manifestations in women with PCOS and to find out whether obesity posed an extra risk or not.
