本文采用一般压力理论来解释留守儿童的弱势地位（压力源）、负面情绪与偏差行为三者之间的具体关系，分析各种压力来源对留守儿童的负面情绪及其偏差行为的影响，并比较留守儿童与非留守儿童在偏差行为模式和形成机制上的异同。首先，研究不同压力源对偏差行为的直接作用；其次，验证负面情绪对偏差行为的影响和负面情绪在压力、偏差行为之间的中介作用；最后，探索调节因素在压力、负面情绪和偏差行为关系之间的调节作用。
