Chlorophenols (CPs), a kind of toxic and poorly biodegradable environmental pollutants, are used widely in industry as preservative agents, pesticides, antiseptics, disinfectants.Recently the investigations have concerned the presence of CPs in drinking water, which were generated from the chlorination process of water, as well as the degradation and bioaccumulation of pesticides, since CPs are among the most toxic and carcinogenic phenolics listed by US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).Therefore, establishing a rapid and sensitive method for trace-level analysis of phenol and CPs in water is very important, which can provide guidance for monitoring and emergency warning for tap water.
