锂硫电池是能源危机和环境问题日趋严重的今天应运而生的产物.锂硫电池是以硫为正极,金属锂为负极,硫正极作为一种基于“转换反应”而非“嵌入脱出反应”电极材料,具有1672 mAh/g的理论比容量,为目前所知的正极材料中最高(是尖晶石锰酸锂的11.3倍,磷酸铁锂的9.8倍,钴酸锂的6.1倍)[1],并且硫还具有来源广泛、毒性低、价格低廉、环境友好等优点,因此单质硫是一种非常有吸引力的二次锂电池的正极活性物质.
