Objective: To explore the Effects of early goal directed therapy(EGDT) in septic shock. Methods: A total of 148 septic shock patients were divided into two groups randomly: the treatment group (apply early goal directed therapy) for 73 patients and the control group (apply Conventional treatment) for 75 patients, the mortality of 30d、60d were compared between the two groups. Results: there is no significant differences between the treatment group than that the control group in the mortality of 30d、 60d (P=0.623,P=0.812);The mean intravenous fluid volume was significantly lower in the control group than that in treatment group during the first 6 hours (P=0.013);there is no significant differences between the two groups in duration of intensive care unit(ICU)stay (P=0.675) 、 in hospital stay (P=0.729);there is no significant differences between the two groups in new organ failure of renal、 respiratory、cardiovascular (P=0.722,P=0.763,P=0.524);There was no significant difference between the two groups in the use of vasopressors (P=0.773),in the use of renal replacement therapy(P =0.722),in the use of mechanical ventilation(P =0.794);there is no significant differences between the two groups in gender、 Age、 APACHE Tr scoer、 Charlson comorbidity score、 Positive blood culture (all P > 0.05).Conclusions: early goal directed therapy(EGDT) in septic shock did not improve outcomes.
