Hydrogels represent a promising technology platform for therapeutic intervention in a variety of diseases due to their capability of retaining water and other biomimetic properties[1].Among the varied hydrogel systems, the injectable hydrogels[2]are of particular interest in controlled drug release because drugs, proteins, and cells can be easily incorporated into the low-viscosity state of the polymer solution/dispersion and then injected into the body at a target site, forming an in situ hydrogel depot.
