  Hydrocyclone has been widely used to separate two components of different densities with centrifugal force created by the swirling flow.Recently,hydrocyclone has attracted great interest in the separation of dispersed oil form water from petroleum industry.However,hydrocyclone has the fatal drawback of low separation efficiency when the dispersed oil droplet diameter is less than 15μm.The overflow also has a quite low oil concentration.
