  Coumarins and flavones are well-known natural product classes in drug discovery,arylimidazo[1,2-a]pyridine is also a privileged structure in some marketed drugs,therefore,the synthesis of their derivatives have attracted considerable attention in pharmaceutical industry in order to find out some new biological activities out of these derivatives.Herein,we have developed a series of simple synthetic approaches for generating different derivatives of coumarins,flavones and arylimidazo[1,2-a]pyridines via radical process and sulfenylation methods,most reactions proceeded under relatively environmentally friendly reaction conditions with high selectivity in moderate to good yields.
