  Soil saline-alkali is a severe and increasing constraint on the productivity of agricultural crops.Salt-overly-sensitive (SOS) signal transduction pathway plays a key role in salinealkali stress.In this study, we cloned and characterized a SOS2-like protein kinase (PKS) gene, GmPKS4, from soybean.First, the GmPKS4 expression profiles were analyzed by quantitative RT-PCR under various stresses.
