Objectives: The radial forearm free flap is the standard flap used for functional reconstruction of oral & maxillofacial defects.Disadvantages of the radial forearm free flap are primarily related to the forearm donor site, which usually requires skin grafting for closure.We introduce a innovative single-stage technique using porcine collagen membrane without skin grafting that permits closure of the radial forearm free flap donor site at the time of flap elevation.
