Objective:To evaluate the posterior approach to the distal third of the humerus fracture.Methods:Sixteen patients with fracture in distal third of humerus from 2003,Feb.to 2005,Jen.,all patients were fixed with plate by posterior approach,patient slide lying,use the posterior approach,expose triceps brachii,open the fascia,appraoach between the long head and lateral head,to the middle thirds fracture of the humerus,use one plate,just let the palte put on the postterior,if with the lower thrids fracture of the humerus,use two plate.
