The characteristic pathological changes is the accumulation of amyloid beta protein (Aβ) within brain, and intraneuronal deposition of Aβ is one of the earliest pathological events in AD.Our preliminary studies suggest that c t7 nicotinic acetylcholine receptor (αt7nAChR) and low-density lipoprotein receptor-related protein-l(LRP1) involve in Aβ internalization.
