  Erosion-wear of QAl9-4 aluminum bronze in liquid-solid two-phase flow(3.5%NaCl+ SiC)was investigated by using a rotating disk system.The influences of impacting speed and size of SiC on the surface morphology,mechanical properties and structure were investigated by use of surface analysis methods and mechanical measurements.Loss of mass test shows that the erosion rate increase with increasing impacting speed,but erosion rate first increase and then decrease with increasing the size of SiC particles.Scanning electron microscopy results show that the main wear mechanism of QAl9-4 aluminum bronze is a synthetically combined function of micro-cutting wearing,surface peeling off and ploughing.Atomic force microscope test display that surface roughness increases rapidly to a large value in a short period of time,and become constant afterwards.Transmission electron microscopy observation shows that the accumulation of dislocation is the main reasons for the wear resistance of QAl9-4 aluminum bronze.
