The present report summarizes the status of using the eutectic liquid of Cu-O system to bond ceramics.The eutectic liquid wets many ceramics well; it is therefore possible to use this liquid to bond ceramics without applying an external load.Though the strength of ceramic/metal interface has attracted a lot of attention,relatively little information is available for the thermal resistance at the interface.
