Neodymium doped phosphate glass were prepared.The structure of Nd-doped phosphate glass was investigated using infiared spectroscopy and Raman scattering.Spectra were analyzed to determine the relative intensity of infrared and Raman bands responsible for different phosphate units.Mid-infrared and Raman absorption spectramainly belong to the stretching vibration of phosphate matric and far infrared spectrum is assigned to the interaction between metal cation and oxygen.
