Sea level rise is evident due to global warming.Global and China's sea level rises were reviewed and investigated according to IPCC-AR5 and tide observations near to the China.Results indicate that during 1901-2010, the global mean sea level rise is about 0.19m (1.7 mm/a)with significant rising rate of 3.2mm/a occurring in the recent decades (1993-2010).Sea level rise along the China is in accordance with that of globe.During the past 100 years, sea level along the China land rose by 0.2-0.3m with mean rising rate of 2.5mm/a.However, sea level rose increasingly in the recent decades probably due to significant temperature rise with average rising rate of 2.9mm/a in 1980-2012.Sea level rise along the China land shows a clear regional characteristic with higher rises occurring in the south-western part of the Bohai Sea, the south part of the Yellow Sea and lower rise in the western part of the Liaodong Gulf and China East Sea.It is of significance to study impact of Sea level rise on water supply of estuaries such as Yellow River estuary, Yangtze River estuary etc.
