CaF2 crystal has a very excellent optical transmission properties,itsthrough wavelength range is widely,intheUV-infrared,with hightransmittance,goodmechanical,thermal,physical andchemical properties,UV radiation ability,irradiation and temperature on the permeability and refractive index changes have little influence,widely used in national security,military equipment,aerospace,etc.,it is the basic material of optical technology and laser technology development.The CaF2 nano-powder was prepared by the Liquid-Solid-Solution(LSS)method.The nanopowder were analyzed by X-ray diffractometer instruments,Scanning electron microscopy,etc.,provide high purity raw materials for the crystal growth.By the improved Bridgrnan method,design and control of thetemperature field,process parameters,conduct the research of crystal growth process,growth of the high quality CaF2 crystal,crystal size is Φ30mm× 150mm.ByXRDof CaF2 crystal phase analysis,we found that crystals have good integrity,no obvious defects.Infrared and ultraviolet CaF2 and other testing methods to characterize the optical properties of the crystal,the results showed that the growth of crystals by the improvement Bridgman method in the infrared and ultraviolet performance is superior to conventional methods of CaF2crystal.To provide high-quality,large-size,integrity good CaF2 UV-IR window material foundation.
