Purpose:A Public Long-Term Care Insurance (LTCI) System in Japan started in April,2000.Care managers are required to utilize their own professional networks to provide the high quality of care under the LTCI system.However,there are also limited studies on this topic.The purpose of this study was to extract elements of perceived networks among care managers and to describe and examine the characteristics of professional networks.
